CLARKSTON, WA — TriState Health has been recognized as one of six Top Recommended Hospitals in Washington state by Becker’s Hospital Review, according to a recent announcement.
The recognition is based on Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey data collected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from patients in 2024. The ranking reflects how likely patients were to recommend a hospital to friends and family following an inpatient stay.
Becker’s Hospital Review compiles the list using patient survey responses, with hospitals required to have at least 100 completed HCAHPS surveys over a four-quarter period to qualify. TriState Health received a five-star rating in patient recommendation under those criteria.
HCAHPS is a national standardized survey that measures patients’ perspectives on hospital care, including communication with staff, responsiveness, and overall experience.
TriState Health is a not-for-profit, community-owned critical access hospital located in Clarkston and has served the region since 1955. The hospital provides care to patients across portions of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
According to hospital officials, the recognition reflects patient feedback collected through federal survey reporting systems.
