LEWISTON, ID – The City of Lewiston has contracted Jones Excavation, LLC to upgrade the stormwater drainage system on undeveloped property along 23rd Street, between 13th and 14th avenues.

The project will include improvements to a catch basin and storm drain to prevent the formation of sinkholes near the sewer line caused by stormwater runoff.

Construction is scheduled to begin Wednesday, January 14, with work generally occurring from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is expected to be completed by January 23.
