U.S. Marshals arrest Spokane fugitive wanted for probation violation, recover handgun

SPOKANE, WA — The United States Marshals Service arrested a Spokane man Thursday who was wanted for violating the terms of his probation, according to a federal news release.

Authorities said Keantray Davon Bryant-Muellner was taken into custody Jan. 16 after deputies located him at a residence in Spokane. He was wanted on a Washington State Department of Corrections Secretary’s Arrest Warrant for violating conditions of a Graduated Re-Entry probation sentence.

Bryant-Muellner’s probation originated from an April 2024 case tied to a multi-agency investigation. In that case, he was arrested on charges that included unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, fourth-degree assault involving domestic violence, and escape from community custody under the Washington State Department of Corrections.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, members of a fugitive task force established a perimeter around the residence Thursday evening and made multiple announcements before entering the home. Bryant-Muellner was later found hiding under a child’s bed and surrendered without incident.

Following his arrest, probation officers conducted a lawful search of the residence, which resulted in the recovery of a handgun and high-capacity magazines.

The arrest was carried out by the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Spokane Police Department, and the Washington State Department of Corrections.

No additional charges were announced in the release.
