BOISE, ID — Nonresident hunters who drew Idaho deer or elk tags must purchase them by 11:59 p.m. MST on Tuesday, Jan. 20, or the tags will be forfeited, according to Idaho Fish and Game.
Officials say all nonresident deer and elk tags, except disabled American veteran (DAV) tags, must be bought by the deadline. Any tags not purchased will be returned to the pool and made available during a second nonresident tag drawing. DAV tags have a later purchase deadline of March 20.
Hunters can check their draw results by logging into their accounts at GoOutdoorsIdaho.com. Fish and Game notes heavy traffic on the licensing system is possible, and a virtual waiting line may be activated.
