CLARKSTON, WA — Twin River Special Olympics is set to host a Polar Plunge fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at the Snap Fitness swimming pool in Clarkston.
The Polar Plunge is designed to raise funds and awareness for the Twin River Special Olympics team. Athletes will take part in the plunge while collecting sponsor donations to support their participation in the program. According to organizers, money raised will help cover transportation to competitions, practice locations, equipment, and uniforms. Athletes do not pay to participate in Special Olympics programs.
The event will feature athlete participation supported by community sponsors. A specific start time for the plunge has not yet been announced.
Twin River Special Olympics is part of Special Olympics Washington, which provides year-round sports opportunities for children ages 8 and older and adults with intellectual disabilities. Athletes compete in regional events with opportunities to advance to state, national, and international competitions, supported by volunteer coaches, parents, and community members.
