BOISE, ID — An 18-year-old Boise man was arrested Monday morning on multiple felony charges following an investigation by the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives and members of the Ada County SWAT team served an arrest warrant around 7 a.m. Jan. 26 in the area of South Redeken Place and East Tiger Lily Drive. Deputies arrested Owen Alexander Sawyer on two felony counts of lewd conduct with a child under 16 and one felony count of possession of child sexually exploitive material.
Sawyer was booked into the Ada County Jail. Investigators said Sawyer is also known to use the alias Owen Suchicital.
The sheriff’s office said detectives believe Sawyer may have contacted victims through Snapchat using the username “iloveidaho.” Based on the information currently available, investigators believe there may be additional victims.
