GEORGE, WA — Organizers of the Watershed Music Festival announced via social media that the long-running country music event will take a hiatus in 2026.
The announcement comes after 13 years of the festival being held at The Gorge Amphitheatre, where Watershed has become a major summer destination for country music fans from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. First launched in 2013, the multi-day festival grew into one of the region’s largest country music events, drawing tens of thousands of attendees each year and featuring nationally recognized country artists.
Organizers did not provide a reason for the hiatus, stating only that any future plans for the festival will be announced at a later date.
