RIGGINS, ID – A McCall man was arrested early Tuesday morning following reports of threatening phone calls and property damage in Riggins, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported on January 27, 2026, at approximately 2:38 a.m., when Idaho County Dispatch received a call about phone threats involving bodily harm. Dispatch advised that the suspect claimed he was en route to the other party’s location.
An Idaho County deputy was dispatched to respond. While the deputy was en route, dispatch received a second report stating the suspect had arrived at the residence and slashed the tires on a vehicle. The suspect fled the scene before the deputy arrived.
An Idaho State Police trooper and an Idaho Fish and Game officer later located the suspect, while the Idaho County deputy made contact with the reporting parties.
Jadon Gutierrez-Jolley, 25, of McCall, was arrested and charged with felony malicious injury to property, misdemeanor theft, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
