Gov. Little announces members of Idaho Advanced Nuclear Energy Task Force

BOISE, ID – Idaho Gov. Brad Little has announced the full membership of the newly formed Idaho Advanced Nuclear Energy Task Force, which is scheduled to hold its first meeting Monday.

The task force was created through Executive Order 2025-06, signed in September, and is tasked with assessing and recommending strategies to advance Idaho’s role in nuclear energy innovation, deployment, and workforce development. The task force is supported by staff from the Governor’s Office of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Idaho National Laboratory.

The task force is co-chaired by Lt. Gov. Scott Bedke and INL Director John Wagner.

  • Raúl Labrador, Attorney General of the State of Idaho

The task force’s first meeting is scheduled for February 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mountain Time in the Lincoln Auditorium at the Idaho State Capitol. The meeting will be streamed online through Idaho Public Television, with public comment scheduled at the end of the meeting.
