Asotin Police Partner With Local Agencies for Polar Plunge Benefiting Special Olympics

ASOTIN, WA — The Asotin Police Department has announced a partnership with local law enforcement agencies and Twin River Special Olympics for an upcoming Polar Plunge fundraiser set to take place at Lewiston Snap Fitness.

According to Chief Monte Renzelman, the event will begin at 10 a.m. and is designed to raise funds in support of Twin River Special Olympics athletes. Proceeds from the Polar Plunge will help cover essential needs, including uniforms, transportation, and other resources that allow athletes to train, compete, and participate in events throughout the year.

The Polar Plunge is intended to bring together law enforcement, athletes, and community members while raising awareness for Special Olympics programs and the athletes they serve. Organizers say the event also highlights the commitment of local agencies to community involvement and support for inclusive athletic opportunities.

Additional details are available on the event flyer or by contacting Asotin Police Chief Monte Renzelman.
