PULLMAN, WA – About a dozen small taxing district levies will be decided by voters in several Whitman County communities during Tuesday’s special vote-by-mail election in Washington.
Most of the measures are replacement school district levies. There are school facility levies on the ballot in LaCrosse, Steptoe, Rosalia, and St. John. Voters in Tekoa, Colfax, Steptoe, Colton, Endicott, Rosalia and St. John have school operations levies to consider.
There are pool levies on the ballot in Garfield and Tekoa.
Those vote-by-mail ballots have to be returned to the auditor’s office postmarked by Tuesday. The ballots can also be dropped off in voting boxes in Pullman and Colfax until 8:00 Tuesday night.
