LEWISTON, ID – Fire crews responded late Wednesday afternoon to a vehicle fire on U.S. Highway 95 near mile marker 319 on Lewiston Hill.

According to Nez Perce County Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at approximately 4:40 p.m. on Feb. 11 to a reported car fire in the northbound lanes.

Upon arrival, crews found a truck fully engulfed in flames in a turnout area. The department responded with one chief officer, five firefighters, and three rigs.

Genesee Fire Department assisted at the scene with one engine and three personnel.
