CLARKSTON, WA — The Clarkston School District has announced a donation from Potlatch No. 1 Financial Credit Union that will bring a new video board to Clarkston High School’s gymnasium.
According to a Thursday press release, the state-of-the-art video board was recently installed at the high school and is expected to enhance athletics and school events. The system has not yet been activated for public use.
District officials said the video board will provide upgraded technology for game-day presentations, including video and graphics, and will also be used for assemblies and performances. In addition to school programming, the district noted the board could create opportunities for future revenue through sponsorships and community advertising partnerships to support student activities.
Superintendent Thaynan Knowlton said in a statement that Potlatch No. 1 Financial Credit Union and its President and CEO, Chris Loseth, continue to demonstrate strong community partnership through the donation.
The district said it plans to unveil the video board at an upcoming event.
