COLFAX, WA – The final vote by mail ballots from this month’s special election in Whitman County have been tabulated, and almost every local levy passed.

All of the school district levies for smaller Whitman County communities were approved by voters. The only small taxing district measure that failed this month was the Garfield pool levy, which was rejected by one vote. The Whitman County Auditor’s Office tabulated the final ballots from the February 10th vote on Friday.
