PULLMAN, WA— The Pullman Regional Hospital Board of Commissioners has appointed Cheryl Oliver as board president.
Oliver was selected during the Jan. 7 public meeting and succeeds Tricia Grantham. PJ Sanchez will continue as vice president, and Anna Nofsinger was appointed secretary.
Oliver, who joined the board in 2023, serves as Associate Dean for Professional Programs at Washington State University’s Carson College of Business. She said her focus will center on community engagement, patient care experience, expansion, and maintaining the hospital’s public status.
Grantham, who has served as president multiple times, totaling eight years, will remain on the board through 2027. During her tenure, the board updated governance policies, hired key executives, including the current CEO, and supported voter approval of a bond for the Patient Care Expansion Project, which passed with 76% support.
The elected board oversees hospital district policies and operations. Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.
