Little Files for Re-Election Bid, Will Appear on May Republican Primary Ballot

BOISE, ID — Idaho Gov. Brad Little has filed paperwork to seek another term in office and will appear on the May 19 Republican primary ballot, according to a campaign press release issued Tuesday.

Little submitted his Declaration of Candidacy to the Idaho Secretary of State on February 24, formally launching his re-election campaign.

In the announcement, Little cited tax relief measures and state investments in education, public safety, and infrastructure during his time in office. He also referenced continued efforts tied to his “Enduring Idaho” plan, which focuses on government operations, fiscal policy, workforce development, and long-term economic growth.

According to the campaign, supporters from across Idaho have helped build a campaign balance of nearly $1.5 million. The release also noted that Little previously set a gubernatorial fundraising record during the 2022 election cycle.

Little said he plans to formally kick off his campaign following the conclusion of the current legislative session.

The Republican primary election is scheduled for May 19.
