Sebastian Bach joining Twisted Sister on select fall concert dates

After health concerns forced Dee Snider to step away from Twisted Sister, the band has found a temporary replacement to help mark its 50th anniversary. Guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda confirmed that former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach will handle vocals for a limited number of shows this fall.

The group had originally planned a reunion tour beginning April 25 in São Paulo, Brazil, but scrapped the run in February following Snider’s departure. In a statement, the band cited “degenerative arthritis” and additional heart-related strain, explaining that decades of high-energy performances had taken a serious toll on the 70-year-old singer.

Now, with Snider’s blessing, Bach will step in for select appearances. In announcing the news, the band shared: “Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and frontman Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall. These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current and future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact.”

While exact dates have yet to be revealed, the shows will offer fans a chance to celebrate the milestone anniversary despite the canceled full tour. The lineup will also feature Joey Cassata on drums, as former drummer Joe “Seven” Franco is unavailable, with Russell Pzütto on bass.
