MOSCOW, ID — The University of Idaho reported its largest spring enrollment on record for 2026, marking its 10th consecutive semester of growth.
Total enrollment reached 12,213 students, a 2.8% increase from spring 2025 and a 25.5% rise since 2021. Undergraduate enrollment grew 3.5% to 7,369 students, with gains among Idaho residents and students from Western Undergraduate Exchange states.
Graduate enrollment dipped slightly by 0.7%, though doctoral enrollment increased to 592 students. The College of Law saw a 9.4% increase, totaling 491 students.
University officials said the continued growth comes as the institution maintains its R1 research classification and recognition as a Best Value Public University in the West.
