PULLMAN, WA – The 30-year-old Pullman man accused of ramming over a dozen vehicles on Grand Avenue and trying to burglarize a home has been found competent to stand trial in his felony case.
John Bradley was arrested in January for allegedly trying to burglarize a home on College Hill. Bradley is charged with felony attempted residential burglary in Whitman County Superior Court.
Bradley was on release with a case pending in Whitman County District Court when he allegedly tried to burglarize the home. That additional criminal case involves ten hit and run misdemeanors. Bradley is accused of crashing into 15 vehicles traveling on North Grand Avenue in December. No one was hurt. Pullman Police believe Bradley was suffering a mental health episode and had been smoking marijuana when he allegedly rammed the cars.
Superior Court Judge Roger Sandberg ordered that Bradley undergo a mental evaluation after he was arrested in the burglary case. Bradley was back in court on Friday and Judge Sandberg found that he is competent to stand trial for the felony charge. A scheduling hearing is set for next week.
Bradley still faces the misdemeanor hit and run counts in district court.
