CLARKSTON, WA — TriState Health has announced its 2026 Provider of Excellence Award recipient in recognition of National Doctors’ Day.
This year’s award was given to Laure’ Larsen, an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with TriState Interventional Pain Consultants. The honor is awarded annually to a provider who demonstrates exceptional dedication to improving community health and patient care.
TriState Health reported receiving more than 400 nominations from patients, staff, and community members for the 2026 award.
The Provider of Excellence Award was established in 2022 in tribute to Dr. Richard Weiland, one of the original primary care providers who joined TriState Health Primary Care Clinics in 2011. The award recognizes providers who reflect the organization’s mission through compassionate care and community involvement.
In a nomination submitted on Larsen’s behalf, one patient cited her consistent support and compassionate approach to care, noting her ability to build trust while addressing both physical and emotional needs.
Larsen has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, primarily in critical care. She earned her nursing degree from Lewis-Clark State College and later completed a master’s degree in nursing from Walden University. She is board certified in adult gerontology acute care and focuses on pain management.
TriState Health officials said Larsen’s work has helped improve quality of life for patients dealing with complex pain conditions, and her recognition reflects both professional excellence and community impact.
The organization also encouraged community members to submit nominations for next year’s award through its website.
