CORVALLIS, OR – No. 7 LC State Baseball swept Cascade Conference McDonald’s Players of the Week honors, presented by Urban Edge Network, announced by the CCC on Monday. Jackson Jaha was voted the conference Player of the Week for the second straight week and Landon Webb was tabbed the Pitcher of the Week.

JACKSON JAHA – BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jaha had another monster weekend at the plate. The sophomore hit .556 (10-for-18) and slugged 1.278 with three home runs, two doubles and a triple. He reached base 60% of the time and totaled 23 bases in 18 at-bats. He drove in nine runs and scored seven and had multiple hits in each of the four games in the sweep of C of I. Jaha leads the NAIA in batting average (.533) and on-base percentage (.607) and is second in slugging (1.000). He has had multiple hits in the last eight games.
This is the second conference weekly honor of Jaha’s career.
LANDON WEBB – BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Webb tossed the first complete game for LC State Baseball this season and did so in shutout fashion on Saturday. The senior went the distance with a two-hit performance against the College of Idaho. He struck out seven batters in the eight-inning contest and did not allow an extra-base hit. He currently leads the CCC in ERA (2.05) and WHIP (0.91).
This is the first weekly honor of Webb’s career.
