PULLMAN, WA – Pullman has been named one of 40 finalists in the nationwide “America’s Favorite Small Towns” competition organized by Parade Magazine and the Steller in celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary.
Pullman is the only city in Washington state to advance to the final round. Community voting, which began Feb. 28, played a key role in helping the city secure its spot among the top 40.
As a finalist, Pullman will be featured in Parade’s May issue. Regional and national winners will be announced on June 1 and June 12.
Visit Pullman officials plan to continue promoting the competition through social media as the city competes for the top honor.
The overall winner will receive “Favorite Small Town” branding, along with a featured Fourth of July celebration that may include national media coverage, giveaways, and special appearances.
