LEWISTON, ID – LC State Athletic Director Jim Klemann announced the addition of Blake Harris as the department’s External Operations Coordinator. The San Diego native brings experience from the West Coast Conference office and NCAA Division I University of the Pacific.
“We are excited to welcome Blake to LC State and Warrior Athletics,” Klemann said. “Blake’s experiences in collegiate athletics and eagerness to learn stood out in the hiring process, and we look forward to the impact he will have on Warrior Athletics.”
As the External Operations Coordinator, Harris oversees all aspects of ticketing operations and event admissions for the athletics department and for the institution as the host of the Avista NAIA World Series. He plays a key role in the enhancement of fan experience, promotional activities and the external administrative processes related to revenue generation.
“I am excited to join an institution where excellence is the standard,” Harris said. “I look forward to learning, contributing and growing with such a dedicated team.”
Harris worked at the West Coast Conference as the Championships and Sports Administration Intern prior to joining LC State. With the WCC, he served as a liaison to championship vendors, assisted with the implementation of marketing and brand strategy and was an on-site contact for all WCC championship officials. Most notably, Harris served as the team liaison for the 2025 WCC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament.
Harris earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific in sport management in 2023 where he worked for the department as a Sports Information Intern and as a manager for the men’s basketball team. At Pacific, he competed for the men’s basketball club team and assisted in content management for the athletic department website and social media. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports analytics through American University.
