JULIAETTA, ID – Two people were found dead inside their home South of Juliaetta on Thursday afternoon.
Latah County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the home on State Highway 3 for a welfare check around 4:00. The reporting party asked deputies to check on the residents because they hadn’t heard from them in some time. Deputies found 66 year old Kent Rotchy and 65 year old Krysta Rotchy deceased inside.
The sheriff’s office says there is no evidence that anyone else was present or involved with the deaths. The case remains under investigation. No further details about the incident are available at this time.
The Latah County Sheriff’s Office is thanking the Moscow Police department and Idaho State Police for their assistance. The sheriff is also thanking the public for being patient during this investigation.
