BOSTON, MA — The United States Postal Service announced Sunday that the popular 2018 Mister Rogers stamp will return after winning the agency’s nationwide “Stamp Encore” contest.

More than 500,000 votes were cast during the 10-week contest, with the Mister Rogers stamp winning by more than 40,000 votes. USPS said the original stamp sold out quickly after its 2018 release.

The re-issued Forever stamp and a new four-stamp souvenir sheet debuted at the Boston 2026 World Exposition and will be available nationwide beginning June 1.

The original stamp features Fred Rogers in his signature red cardigan alongside King Friday XIII from the “Neighborhood of Make-Believe.”
