Clarkston Police Seize Dogs After Reports of Chicken Killings, Bite Incidents

CLARKSTON, WA — The Clarkston Police Department executed a search warrant Wednesday at a residence in the 500 block of 9th Street as part of an ongoing investigation involving dangerous dogs.

According to the department, officers arrested 38-year-old Daniel K. Garrison of Clarkston on allegations related to harboring vicious dogs that were involved in multiple biting incidents.

During the warrant service, officers seized two dogs from the property. The animals were taken into custody pending further proceedings.

Police said the investigation began after reports that the dogs had killed chickens in the neighborhood, raising concerns about public safety. Authorities alleged the dogs posed a risk to residents and other animals in the area.

The Clarkston Police Department was assisted by the Quad Cities Drug Task Force during the operation to help ensure the warrant was carried out safely and efficiently.

The investigation remains ongoing.
