GRANGEVILLE, ID — A Grangeville woman was arrested Thursday evening following a traffic stop south of Grangeville that led to the discovery of suspected illegal drugs, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the stop occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m. on June 4 near milepost 238 on U.S. Highway 95. An Idaho County deputy conducting traffic enforcement stopped a maroon Ford Explorer for a traffic violation. K9 Enzo and his handler responded to the scene, and the K9 alerted on the vehicle, prompting a search.
Patricia Kelly, 44, of Grangeville, was arrested on allegations of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of hydrocodone, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kelly was arrested and charged with two felony drug possession counts and two misdemeanor drug-related offenses. The case remains under investigation.
