MOSCOW, ID – A 52-year-old Juliaetta man with a lengthy criminal history who was on probation when he was arrested for allegedly selling drugs has pleaded guilty.
The recent local case against Michael Burrows dates back to March of 2024. A probation officer and a Latah County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a residence check at Burrows’ home on Main Street in Juliaetta. Authorities found almost a half-pound of methamphetamine along with cocaine, pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Burrows pleaded guilty on Friday in Latah County Second District Court to felony delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Burrows is set to be sentenced in March. His criminal history includes a possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver conviction in Kootenai County from 2022.
55-year-old Tanya Rhoads was arrested with Burrows in March of 2024. Like Burrows, Rhoads was on probation when she was taken into custody. Rhoads was arrested for drug trafficking in the fall of 2022 when she was found with a pound of meth in Moscow. Her case is still pending.
