LEWISTON, ID – LC State Men’s Cross Country began building for the 2026 season with the addition of local product Benjamin Farr. The Genesee Bulldog will join the Warriors in the fall.

“We are extremely excited to announce Ben as the first addition to our Warrior family for the fall,” coach Mike Collins said. “There are so many things about him that we love already that we know he will bring into the program. He is local, he is a good student and a great member of his community, and he knows how to run with what we have already seen with great success. He was a district champion and second at State, and he might have won had he not pushed a tremendously hard pace from the beginning which shows his willingness to hurt and to take risks. These are things that we know are valuable and a great fit in our program. Already looking forward to getting him into Warrior colors this fall.”

Farr owns multiple school records at Genesee in both cross country and track and field. On the track, he specializes in the mile, 1500m and 800m. Farr holds the district cross country record, was a district champion and finished as the State Runner-Up.
