MOSCOW, ID – Cameron Carrara and Perry Severjnse opened the 2026 portion of the LC State Track and field schedule on Thursday at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open in Moscow. The duo competed in the first four events of the heptathlon ahead of the final three events on Friday.
Carrara leads the Warrior pair in seventh place in the field with 2,151 points. Severijnse is in 11th with 2,070 points.
Carrara earned seventh-place marks in the 60m dash (7.42) and shot put (10.20m). He finished eighth in the high jump (1.73m) and 11th in the long jump (4.80m).
Severijnse had a strong start to his first multi with a pair of personal bests. He placed fifth in the 60m dash with a career best time of 7.36 and landed a PR of 12.13m to finish third in the shot put. He was fifth in the long jump (6.50m) but did not record a height in the high jump.
