Yotes Edge Warrior Men with Last-Second Shot

LEWISTON, ID – College of Idaho’s final possession was the difference maker as a 3-pointer with one second left in the contest decided Friday’s matchup in Lewiston. The Yotes edged (RV) LC State 68-66 in a tightly contested battle between Idaho’s only NAIA teams.

“Our guys battled and it was good to see us make multiple efforts throughout the game, but we were way too poor defensively defending the 3 to really cement things,” coach Austin Johnson said. “Credit to C of I, they got whatever they wanted in the second half. We have a short turnaround to play a very well rested first place EOU team. We’ll need to put this one behind us and be ready to roll.”
