COLFAX, WA – The Libey Gallery in Colfax is hosting a fundraiser to support two local residents who are battling cancer.
Regional artists Kelly and Beverly Barnett are donating proceeds from their original watercolors to support the Jenkin and Cox families. Colfax High School Boys Basketball Coach Reese Jenkin and Colfax student Kage Cox have been diagnosed with cancer.
The gallery’s new exhibit is called 100 Barnett Barns. The pieces go on display Thursday at the gallery next to the Colfax Library. On Friday the gallery will host an artist reception. All proceeds from sales of the paintings will go to the Cox and Jenkin Families. The exhibit runs for the rest of the month.
