SEWARD, NE – Warrior Dance wrapped up its long road trip on Saturday with another strong performance. LC State earned a score of 77.87 to place fifth of eight teams at the Concordia Cheer and Dance Invitational.

“Today we hit our routine,” coach Sydnee Vial said. “Each day we have had weird little things happen, but today they pulled through and we got a hit. We achieved our highest placement this season and were able to compete with some really talented teams. We are wrapping up this week on a high note.”

LC State placed ahead of Northwestern (Iowa), College of Saint Mary (Neb.) and Briar Cliff (Iowa).

The Warriors pulled off a strong routine without any deductions.

“We had our best routine today,” Vial added. “The judging is subjective and changes from competition to competition, but overall, I could not be prouder.”
