LEWISTON, ID – The Lewiston Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday at 816 10th Ave.

Upon arrival, crews found light smoke inside the residence and an extinguished fire in the basement.

The department responded with three structural engines, three medic units, three chief officers and one fire investigator, totaling 19 personnel. Clarkston Fire also responded under an auto aid agreement.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No firefighters or civilians were injured. Estimated damage to the structure and its contents is $10,000.
