PULLMAN, WA — Washington State University Athletics has released its 2026 football schedule, the program’s first season in the restructured Pac-12 Conference.
The Cougars will play six home and six road games. The season opens Sept. 5 at Washington in the Apple Cup, followed by a Sept. 12 trip to Kansas State in the first meeting between the schools.
WSU’s home opener is Sept. 19 against Duquesne. Arizona (Sept. 26) and Fresno State (Oct. 3) follow at Gesa Field. Boise State visits Pullman on Oct. 24, its first trip to Gesa Field since 2017 .
Road games include Utah State (Oct. 10), Oregon State (Oct. 17), San Diego State (Oct. 31), and Texas State (Nov. 21) . The lone bye week is Nov. 7.
The regular season concludes Nov. 28 with a Pac-12 flex week matchup at Gesa Field. WSU is currently projected to face Oregon State, though the conference may adjust the pairing. The Pac-12 Championship Game is set for Dec. 4 at an on-campus site.
