No. 22 LC State Men’s Basketball Knocks Down 19 3-Pointers in Rout of Evergreen

OLYMPIA, Wash. – No. 22 Lewis-Clark State Men’s Basketball used a barrage of 3-pointers to upend The Evergreen State College (Wash.) 104-56 on Friday. The Warriors knocked down 19 triples which rank in the top 10 in a single game. LC State had five Warriors drain at least three 3-pointers in a contest where every player on the court scored.

“Good road win for the guys,” coach Austin Johnson said. “Everyone chipped in and had an impact which was very encouraging. We shot it at a super high level but most importantly we really defended as a team which allowed us some breathing room early. Twenty-five assists was pretty special and shows a lot about who our guys are trying to be. Not much time to enjoy it as we’re right back tomorrow against a really tough Northwest team. Excited to see how we respond.”

The win moves the LC State record to 20-5 overall and 14-3 in Cascade Conference play.
