LEWISTON, ID— The opening round of the 2025–2026 Inland Empire League (IEL) Boys Basketball Regional Tournament will take place Friday, February 20, at Lewiston High School, according to a press release from the school.

Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., with Lewiston, the tournament’s top seed, set to host Moscow in the opening matchup. As the top seed, Lewiston will host throughout the regional tournament. The remaining two tournament dates are unchanged and will also begin at 6:00 p.m., hosted by the higher-seeded teams.

League officials voted last week to move the opening round to Friday to avoid a potential site conflict with the 5A District Wrestling Tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, at Lakeland High School.
