VIOLA, ID – Tuesday night’s snowfall was the heaviest of the season so far for what has been a mild winter.
According to reports to the National Weather Service, Viola received the most snow on the Palouse at just over 7 inches. Five and a half inches fell in Palouse, while 4 inches came down in Thornton.
The NWS still has a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the mountains, calling for another couple of inches of snow until 10:00 tonight.
