MOSCOW, ID – Emergency responders from several local agencies are working to rescue a logger who was injured in an accident in North Latah County this morning.
The Latah County Sheriff’s Office tells Pullman Radio News that the injured logger is in stable condition. The Potlatch Volunteer Fire Department, City of Moscow and Pullman Fire Department personnel and the U.S. Forest Service are on scene.
Officials have called for a Two Bear Air rescue helicopter to respond out of Montana. Potlatch Volunteers were initially called to the accident on Baby Grand Mountain around 9:30 this morning.
