LEWISTON, ID – Representative Kyle Harris has announced he will seek reelection to continue serving Idaho’s District 7 in the House of Representatives.
In a statement, Harris said he plans to build on the work completed during his current term and continue focusing on fiscal responsibility, rural economic growth and government transparency.
“As your representative, I’ve worked every day to protect taxpayer dollars, strengthen our rural communities, and ensure state government remains accountable to the people it serves,” Harris said. “I’m running for re-election because District 7 deserves strong, consistent, conservative leadership that reflects our shared Idaho values.”
Harris cited responsible budgeting, limited government, lower taxes, accountability and support for agriculture, timber and small businesses among his priorities. He also referenced his recent appointment to the Joint Finance–Appropriations Committee, saying the position has strengthened his ability to oversee state spending.
“With my work on JFAC, I’ve been able to scrutinize spending line-by-line and fight to eliminate wasteful government practices,” Harris said. “I will continue demanding accountability from every state agency and ensure that Idaho taxpayers get maximum value for every dollar spent.”
Harris said his priorities for the upcoming term include supporting law enforcement, protecting constitutional rights, expanding opportunities for families and businesses, and ensuring rural communities have a strong voice in Boise.
“I’m proud of what we’ve achieved, but there’s more work ahead,” Harris said. “I’m asking for the continued support of District 7 voters so we can keep Idaho strong, free, and financially responsible.”
