LEWISTON, ID — The Lewis Clark Volleyball Club U16 National team finished second overall at the Festival Fiesta Classic in Phoenix, Arizona, earning a silver medal in the 16 Club Division.
Competing against 95 teams from across the United States and Canada, the team advanced through three days of competition and 19 total sets — more than any other team in the division — to reach the Gold Bracket championship match. In the finals, LCVBC faced BAVC 16 National Sal from the San Francisco Bay Area and pushed the match to three sets before securing the runner-up finish.
The U16 National roster includes nine athletes from the Lewis-Clark Valley, Nez Perce, and Riggins. Several players have competed together for more than four years.
“This group has something truly special,” Head Coach Shannon Erbst said. “Their resilience, work ethic, and belief in each other were on full display all weekend long. They rose to every challenge with heart and composure, and I couldn’t be prouder of how they represented our community on a national stage.”
The team roster includes Emily Millard, Leah Erbst, Poppy Harper, Avery Lux, Elle Walker, Tressa Lukehart, Kennedy Cargill, Chloe Way, and Darby Litchfield. Coaches are Shannon Erbst and Chrissy Cargill.
The team is midway through its 2025–2026 season and continues regional and national competition.
