MOSCOW, ID – The Vandal Gaming Convention returns on Saturday, February 28, beginning at 10:00 am at the Bruce M. Pitman Center on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow. Admission is free and the event is open to college and high school students as well as the general public.
This year’s convention is being run by University of Idaho Esports and includes a new High School Invitational tournament with a $2,000 prize pool, awarding $1,000 in scholarships or club funds to the first-place teams in Rocket League and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The annual cosplay contest has also returned, now hosted out of the Vandal Esports lab.
The event also features open tournaments for various games, youth tournaments (ages 3-13) for Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and local vendors.
