CLARKSTON, WA — TriState Health is recognizing National Nutrition Month® this March with activities aimed at promoting healthier eating habits and overall wellness in the community.
According to the organization, TriState Wellness staff and employees are celebrating the month through healthy snacks, games, and educational opportunities centered on this year’s theme, “Discover the Power of Nutrition.” The campaign encourages individuals and families to consider how balanced diets, informed food choices, and regular physical activity can support physical and mental well-being.
TriState Wellness Director Jen Scharffer said the annual observance provides an opportunity for people to reflect on their daily eating habits and make improvements that support long-term health.
Registered dietitian nutritionists with TriState Wellness also offer programs focused on nutrition planning, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes designed to help people maintain healthier routines.
National Nutrition Month was established in 1973 and is observed each March to encourage communities to learn more about nutrition and healthy living.
