Man, Juvenile Killed in Southern Idaho Rollover Crash

TWIN FALLS, ID – A man and a juvenile passenger died Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash in southern Idaho, according to the Idaho State Police.

Troopers say the crash occurred at about 6:36 p.m. on March 8 on East 4800 North near North 800 East in Twin Falls County, Idaho.

Police said a gold 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 39-year-old man from Buhl, Idaho was traveling westbound on 4800 North with three juvenile passengers when the pickup left the roadway, went off the right shoulder and rolled multiple times.

The driver and one juvenile passenger died at the scene, according to state police.

A second juvenile was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital. A third juvenile was taken from the scene by a personal vehicle.

Investigators said one juvenile was wearing a seatbelt. The other three occupants were not wearing seatbelts.

Alcohol and speed are suspected to be contributing factors in the crash, according to Idaho State Police.

The roadway was blocked for approximately three hours while crews responded and cleared the scene.
