PALOUSE, WA — Fire crews quickly extinguished a reported boiler room fire at a home in Palouse on Wednesday morning.
According to the Palouse Fire Department, crews were dispatched at 9:46 a.m. March 11, along with Pullman Rural Fire District 12 and the Pullman Fire Department, for a structure fire response.
Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire quickly. Officials said the home had a large amount of steam inside, and Palouse Fire personnel assisted the homeowner with ventilating the house.
The home was later returned to the homeowner. No injuries were reported.
