CLARKSTON, WA — The Friends of the Asotin County Library will host a one-day fundraising campaign on Wednesday, April 1, as part of Library Giving Day.
The effort encourages community members to support the library through donations, which help fund programs and services. Activities are planned throughout the day at the downtown library, including an all-day Easter egg hunt for children, a ukulele sing-along at 2 p.m., and Glowforge laser cutter demonstrations from 1 to 4 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
Organizers say the campaign aims to highlight the role libraries play in the community, offering more than books through educational programs and resources that support lifelong learning.
Several local businesses and organizations are participating as matching sponsors. Donations can be made online, in person, or by phone on April 1.
