Idaho County – Idaho State Police is investigating a one-vehicle collision that occurred at 9:15 PM on November 13, 2022, on US95 north of Riggins near milepost 196.5, in Idaho County.  

A 2008 Ford F350 driving southbound lost control and struck a rock embankment.  The Ford came to rest in the highway blocking both lanes.  The 19-year-old male driver, from Orofino, was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.  He was not wearing a seat-belt.

The roadway was blocked for 2.5 hours.  Idaho State Police was assisted at the scene by the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office and Riggins Fire and EMS.
