IDAHO COUNTY, ID — A traffic safety stop along Highway 95 led to the recovery of a reported stolen vehicle and the arrest of an 18-year-old Washington man, according to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reported that at approximately 10:52 a.m. on April 7, they observed a red Toyota Corolla parked in a southbound pullout with its hood open and a battery sitting in front of the vehicle.
After making contact, deputies determined the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Ephrata, Washington.
Andrew Cooper, 18, of Moses Lake, Washington, was arrested on a felony charge of possession of stolen property.
