CORVALLIS, Ore. – Maddie Holm had one of her best weekends of the season to help the No. 10 LC State Women’s Basketball team to a pair of victories and sole possession of first place in the Cascade Conference standings. Highlighted by a 21-point, 14-rebound double-double on Saturday, Holm was voted the Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

The Saint Helens, Ore., native helped the Warrior women sweep the final weekend of 2022, including a big win over No. 20 Eastern Oregon. The junior averaged a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds between the two games. In Saturday’s victory over in-state rival College of Idaho, Holm led the contest with 21 points and 14 rebounds. She shot 40 percent from the field, .375 from 3-point range and went 7-for-10 from the free throw line.

This is the second weekly honor for Holm this season and third of her career.
