On March 21, 2023, around 2:05 PM, Idaho County deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Highway 95 near milepost 230.5. The pickup was pulling a trailer hauling a vehicle for scrap metal.
The owner of the vehicle involved in the accident arrived on scene. K9 Mic performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted.
Frank Giudice, age 29, of Riggins, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was transported by ambulance to Syringa Hospital in Grangeville.
Destiny McConnell, age 29, of Riggins, was cited for misdemeanor driving under the influence and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. McConnell was arrested on March 22, 2023, for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia stemming from this incident.
